Kitsch ou chic

 

* j'avais flashé sur sa version... et je rêvais de faire la même chose. Il m'a fallu plus d'un an pour trouver dans un dépot-vente un peu minable, dans un coin un peu paumé ce canevas aux couleurs très gaies. Je ne devais pas avoir le profil "ad hoc" car le brocanteur m'a demandé deux fois ce que je comptais en faire... ou bien il doutait de ce qu'il vendait !

ces canevas n'ont plus trop la côte mais conbien d'heures passées à broder chaque point de manière si régulière...

 

* pour réaliser mes deux petits coussins, j'ai d'abord cousu une toile au dos du canevas dans les dimensions choisies, afin que les fils ne s'éffilochent pas puis j'ai découpé.

* I felt in love of her version... and I dreamt of doing the same thing. I took me more than one year to find in a little shabby second-hand shop, in a remote place this very fesh-colored canvas. I shouldn't have the expected client profile for this item because the dealer asked me twice what was my intention about it... or he doubted about what he was selling!

these canvas are no longer very popular. I wonder how many hours were spent embroidering each stich in such a regular way...

 

* to make the two little cushions, I first sewed fabric on the back of the canvas taking desired dimensions into account to avoid fraying at the edge then I cut it up.
